Tax Notes

To access Tax Notes, you must register for an individual profile using your UW (@wisc.edu) email address.

Access Tax Notes  by signing in with your @wisc.edu email address and TaxNotes password.

Registration instructions for first-time users

  1. Go to the Tax Notes sign in page and enter your UW (@wisc.edu) email address. Click “Next”.
  2. Fill out the profile registration form. Use your UW (@wisc.edu) email address in the Company email address field, and choose a password that is different than your NetID password. Click “Register”. You will see a “Thank you for registering.” popup.
  3. You will receive a welcome email from taxanalysts@taxnotes.com. Click the link in the email to verify your account. Then sign in to Tax Notes with your UW email address and the password you chose.

Once you’ve registered, you can access Tax Notes via the library’s website or directly at taxnotes.com. Sign in to Tax Notes with your UW email address and the password you chose.
