For Help Interpreting Citations & Locating Sources:
When it comes to finding sources in the Law Library, the reference librarians
are golden. Use them.
Law Librarians can:
suggest a strategy if you don't know where to start
help you decipher an abbreviation, using sources such as Bieber's
Dictionary of Legal Abbreviations (Reference KF/246/B46...)
advise you on hard-to-locate sources
For Help with Cite Checking:
As to Bluebooking, ask the Managing Editor (ME) who is handling the article
you're checking or the Senior Managing Editors (SMEs). If you can't find
us in the office, send an e-mail
Be forewarned that the cite check learning curve is intense. As a result,
you should budget LOTS of time to do your packets, especially the first
ones. Don't rely on authors to have cited a source correctly.
