There are two ways to access ereserves:
- Use the library's Law Course Resources page
at http://courses.library.wisc.edu/ereserves2/index.php?iAction=dept&iID=528
[You may be prompted to OK a security certificate.] You will be asked
for your NetID and password. Click on the course that wish to view ereserves for
and on the subsequent page click on the section. The reserves page will then be displayed for that course and section.
- Using the My UW portal at https://my.wisc.edu/.
You will be asked for your NetID and password.
Once in the portal you'll need to click on the Academics tab. In the
table of your current courses, go to the last column which has a reserves
link if ereserves are available for the course. Click on the reserves
link to view the availble readings for each course.
About your NetID: In order to access
course reserve readings on the ereserves system, you must have an active
NetID. Your NetID is usually the first part of your UW email address (i.e.
netid@wisc.edu). If you haven't activated your NetID or have forgotten
your password please contact DoIT at 264-HELP for assistance.
Troubleshooting:
- If you experience problems logging onto the Law Course Reserves page,
try using the My UW Portal instead. Because the various servers involved
are using different methods of authentication, it may be that one server
is having difficulties.
- Please use http://library.law.wisc.edu/ereserves/problemrpt.html
to report any technical problems viewing the files. This would include
files not loading and computer error messages.
- Please email coursereserve@law.wisc.edu
with any content problems. This would include files you believe are
missing or files that are mislinked.
