Criminal Justice

NCJRS Abstracts   Contains summaries of publications on criminal justice from the 1970's-present, including federal, state, and local government reports, books, research reports, journal articles, and unpublished research. Subject areas include corrections, courts, drugs and crime, law enforcement, juvenile justice, crime statistics, and victims of crime.

Sourcebook of Criminal Justice Statistics   Data about all aspects of criminal justice in the United States presented in over 600 tables from more than 100 sources. Sourcebook is organized into six topical sections:   system characteristics, public opinion, offenses known, arrests, judicial processing, and corrections. Environmental

ECOLEX  The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the World Conservation Union (IUCN) sponsor this collection international environmental law documents, including multilateral treaties, national legislation, European Union instruments, international "soft law" and related documents, law and policy literature, and judicial decisions. Search by subject area, keyword, country, or date.

NEPIS - National Environmental Publications Information System Contains more than 10,000 full-text EPA documents from the 1980's to the present. Includes reports, studies, status reports, annual reports, council proceedings, strategic plans, and more.

US Copyright Office  Official site of the US Copyright Office contains general information about copyrights, copyright records from 1978-present, legislation, forms, and publications.

US Patent and Trademark Office  Official site of the US PTO contains general information about patents and trademarks, patent records from 1976-present, trademark records, forms, manuals, and other publications.

Delphion Intellectual Property Network   Delphion provides access to more than 2 million US patents issued since 1971, including bibliographic texts, images, abstracts, and all claims.  Keyword search full text or limit to individual fields, such as name, patent number, date, etc.

Taxation

Internal Revenue Service  Official IRS site contains federal tax information and publications. 

IRS Forms and Publications  Contains IRS publications and static and fill-in forms from 1992-present.  Keyword search full text or browse by number and date.

IRS Tax Regulations   Includes the Internal Revenue Code, Internal Revenue Bulletins, and plain language tax regulations

Internal Revenue Manual  Contains full text of IRM. Browse by chapter heading in table of contents.

State Tax Forms  Links to sites for official state tax forms in most states.

Joint Committee on Taxation  Official site of the Joint Committee contains membership information and publications (committee prints), including the "Blue Book" (General Explanation of Tax Legislation Enacted in. . .).

US Tax Court  Official site of the US Tax Court contains general information about the court, rules of practice and procedure, and opinions from the current year.  Search opinions by party name, date, judge, and opinion type.
