Quarles & Brady Reading Room

Located on the east wing of the fifth floor, the Quarles & Brady Reading Room houses many of the library's federal materials.

The mural, entitled "The Freeing of the Slaves," was painted in 1942 by American Regionalist artist, John Steuart Curry.
