Quarles & Brady Reading Room

Located on the east wing of the fifth floor, the Quarles & Brady Reading Room houses many of the library's federal materials, as well as the library's Lincoln Collection.

The mural, entitled "The Freeing of the Slaves," was painted in 1942 by American Regionalist artist, John Steuart Curry.
